HOW TO PLAY

01The Basics

Predict the outcome of every FIFA World Cup 2026 match. For each game, pick Home win, Draw, or Away win. No football knowledge needed, just trust your gut!

In the knockouts, a match level after 90 minutes counts as a Draw here, even if it's settled by extra time or penalties. So Draw is always a valid pick.

02Points by Stage

Points increase as the tournament progresses:

3 Group
5 R32
10 R16
15 QF
20 SF
30 3rd
50 Final

The 3rd-place playoff is worth 30, more than a semi-final, so the tournament stays winnable to the very end.

03GOAT Pick GOAT

For each block of matches, you can mark one prediction as your GOAT. Look for this toggle on each match:

Choose wisely:

GOAT pick correct That match's points are doubled: a Round of 16 win earns 20 instead of 10.
✕
GOAT pick wrong That match's points are subtracted from your total: a Round of 16 GOAT means −10.

No GOAT selected? No penalty. Wrong picks just earn zero.

04Making Picks

After logging in, you'll be prompted to place picks for the current block. You can also make or change them any time from the Fixtures & Picks view, where every match shows your pick alongside the results.

Planning to be away? You can place picks for future blocks ahead of time. Just tap the "Picks" button on any open block.

05Deadlines

Matches are grouped into blocks (typically 2-6 games). Predictions for a block close 1 hour before its first kickoff, and a countdown timer shows the time remaining. Once that deadline passes, that block's picks are locked for good.

Each block locks independently, so you can keep editing picks for later blocks while an earlier one is being played.

06Leaderboard

Everyone is ranked by total points. If two players are level, the tie is broken in this order:

  1. Most correct picks
  2. Most correct GOAT picks
  3. Most GOAT picks made overall

Want to show up as something other than your name? Set a nickname from the menu (tap your avatar, top-right). It replaces your name on every leaderboard.

07Mini-Leagues

Compete in private leagues with your mates alongside the global board. Create a league and you'll get a 6-character code to share. Anyone can join by entering that code.

Each mini-league has its own leaderboard. Switch to it from the Mini Leagues menu, and flip between leagues you're in with the arrow next to the league name:

A mini-league only counts matches that kick off after the league was created, so if you join mid-tournament, earlier results won't count toward that league's standings (your global score is unaffected).

Some leagues have a prize 🎁. Tap the gift icon by the league name to see it. The league's creator sets and edits the prize.
